Select the right location:

The first step is selecting the right location for split AC installation. You should select the location very carefully. The indoor unit should be installed at least seven feet from the ground. There should be at least 15 cm of space in all directions of the unit for proper airflow. The wall that you are choosing should be strong with no vibration.

Mounting plate and outlet hole:

In the second step, you will have to install the outlet’s mounting plate and drill holes. You should hold the plate horizontally against the wall. Make sure that you are holding the plate straight. With the help of a pencil, mark all the points where you need to fix the screws and fasten the mounting plate. Take off the plate and drill the holes, and place the plastic anchors into the holes. You can now place the mounting plate and tighten the screws. Just beside or above the mounting plate, you should make a hole for wires and pipes connected to the outdoor unit.

Mount the AC unit:

You can now lift the unit and send all the wires, copper pipes, and drainage pipes through the outlet role. You can tape them all together for easy handling. Air conditioner wiring requirements will be specified on the package. Now place the unit on the mounting plate in the right way.

Outdoor unit area:

Now that you are done with the indoor unit air conditioning installation, you will have to pick a location for your outdoor unit. You should pick a location with good shade and no dust. Also, ensure that there is at least a 30 cm gap between the wall and the unit. You should never place it close to the wall as it will affect its performance.

Fix bracket:

Now once the location is decided, you will have to fix the brackets to the wall. You can drill holes to the wall and fasten them to the wall with the screws provided.

Mount the outdoor unit:

Your next step is to place the outdoor unit on the bracket and fix the holes. The holes and the unit should coincide with each other so that you will be able to fix it well. Bolt them, and you are done here.

Connect the wires:

You should now make all the connections from the electrical ports. You can use the diagram provided by the manufacturer. Follow the split AC installation tips provided by the manufacturer to make sure that it works well.
